1. Definition, purpose and seat of the association
Name of the association: International Felinotherapy Association, z. s. (hereinafter referred to as the association or IFA)
Purpose of the Association: The Association is an international organization of individuals and legal entities involved in zoo-rehabilitation, specifically felinotherapy. It serves as an international umbrella organization for this activity, establishes a basic testing and training scheme for felinotherapy teams, and provides and offers further training for individuals and corporations in this and related areas. It carries out testing of fellowship teams.

The Society does not belong to any umbrella organisation.
2. Supreme (highest) body
The general assembly is the supreme body and is composed of all members of the association.
The General Assembly is convened by the Executive Committee at least once a year. The General Assembly is convened by invitation sent by e-mail correspondence.
The invitation shall always include at least the place and time of the meeting and the agenda of the General Assembly. The invitation must be sent at least 10 days before the General Meeting.
The Executive Committee shall also be obliged to convene a general meeting on the initiative of at least
1/3 of the members of the association over 18 years of age. If in this case the Executive Committee does not convene the General Meeting within 30 days of receipt of a proper motion, the person who made the motion is entitled to convene the General Meeting himself.
The meeting of the general meeting may be called off or adjourned in the same manner as it was
convened.
A quorum shall be present in the presence of an absolute majority of the members of the association. In the event that half an hour after the scheduled time of commencement an absolute majority of the members of the association is not present, the quorum shall be the number of members present. An absolute majority of the members present shall be required for the validity of a resolution of the General Assembly.
Each member has 1 vote.
Voting may also be conducted electronically. The General Assembly may also adopt its decisions per rollam, in written form (e.g. by e-mail). The motion must contain at least the draft resolution, the documents required for its consideration or an indication of where they are published, and an indication of
the time limit within which the member of the association is to make his or her views known. This time limit shall not be less than 10 working days.
The validity of a written vote shall be subject to a statement by the member indicating the day, month and year on which it was taken, signed in his own hand on a document containing the full text of the draft decision. The president of the association shall notify the members of the result of the vote in writing or by any other appropriate means and, if the resolution is adopted, the full content of the resolution adopted.
If he fails to do so without undue delay, the person who proposed the resolution may make the notification at the expense of the association. In the case of a vote by roll-call, the decision shall be adopted if a majority of all the members of the association are in favour of its adoption.
In particular, the general meeting shall:
approve the statutes and amendments thereto,
elect and dismiss members of the Executive Committee,
approve the amount of membership fees and administrative charges,
decide on all other matters not reserved by these statutes,
decide on the dissolution of the IFA and appoint a liquidator.
3. Executive Body
The executive body of the Association is the Executive Committee, which implements the decisions of the General Assembly. It decides on all matters unless they are within the exclusive competence of other bodies of the association. It ensures the performance of the main and secondary activities of the association in the period between the meetings of the General Assembly.
The Executive Committee has 4 members, always with a president, a vice-president and an economist. The President is always a member of the Executive Committee, as an individual statutory body of the association. The members of the Executive Committee are elected / recalled for an indefinite term.
The Executive Committee shall elect a President from among its members.
The Executive Committee shall be convened to meet by the President or, in the event that the President fails or is unable to do so, by another member of the Executive Committee as required.
A quorum of the Executive Committee shall be present when a majority of its members are present.
The approval of a majority of those present shall be required for the validity of a resolution of the Executive Committee. In the event of a tie, the President's vote shall prevail.
The Executive Committee shall be responsible for deciding on all matters which are not entrusted by these Statutes to the exclusive competence of the General Assembly or other bodies of the Association.
4. Statutory body
The individual statutory body of the Association is the President. The president represents the association externally independently. The president shall sign on behalf of the association by affixing his signature to the printed or written name of the association. The President is elected/removed by the Executive Committee for an indefinite period of time.
5. Definition of functions
The Executive Committee shall be responsible for the practical registration of IFA members and their cats. It provides liaison with other organisations with a similar focus, including foreign organisations. Ensures consent to the processing of personal data of IFA members and external participants in events organised by the association.

Organizes training and examination procedures, organizes examinations in the framework of felinotherapy, team training, organizes internships and previews of felinotherapy or accompanying activities, seminars, courses and training, unless an agreement is made with an external organizer. They also arrange any other events related to fellinotherapy. The Executive Committee shall issue an annual report on activities, including accounts relating to these activities, and, if necessary, extraordinary reports. The President of the IFA shall compile these into a summary report.
The Executive Committee shall have the following composition:
(a) President - represents the association externally. He/she shall arrange for the continuing education of IFA members
and external participants, concludes contracts with contractual facilities where felinotherapy is performed as well as with legal and natural persons.
b) Vice President - represents the President of the IFA, if necessary, on the basis of a written power of attorney granted by the President. He/she shall be responsible for the practical registration of IFA members.
and GDPR. Keeps records of the conduct of examinations and training within the Felinotherapy.
c) Economist - keeps the accounts of the IFA and records the management of the Association.
All these functions are involved in the management of the IFA. Only the President of the IFA has the authority to represent the association externally. However, the President of the IFA may authorise another member of the IFA management to act on behalf of the association, on the basis of a written power of attorney. If necessary, they have the right to call an extraordinary general meeting at any time. An Ordinary General Meeting is always called in the first half of the following year by the IFA Management.
All these functions are subject to the control of the membership and any ordinary member has the right to scrutinise the governing bodies and their activities. All these functions are considered to be temporary activities and may be paid over and above the mandatory limit of temporary hours determined at the AGM for the current calendar year.
6. Membership of the IFA
Membership of the IFA is open to any individual or legal entity - an association engaged in or supporting zoo-rehabilitation. A natural person must be over 18 years of age, of any gender, nationality or citizenship, and actively involved in or supporting fellatio.
For foreign members, payment of dues and administrative fees may be accepted only
in Czech currency. Membership in the IFA begins with the submission of a written application and payment of the membership fee. The amount of the fee for the calendar year is proposed and approved by the General Assembly.
6. 1. Each member has the following rights:
to elect and be elected to the bodies of the association,
to participate in the activities of the association with their opinions, knowledge and skills,
to address the bodies of the association with suggestions and complaints and to ask for their opinion,
register their cats in the IFA register and register their team,
apply for the issue and registration of the tests and training carried out for their team, subject to compliance with the internal regulations of the IFA and the laws in force in the Czech Republic,
be a member of other legal entities - associations in the Czech Republic and abroad.
6. 2. Each member has the following duties:
to comply with the laws in force in the Czech Republic,
for foreign members, in addition, to observe the laws of their home countries,
to comply with the internal regulations of the IFA,
actively participate in the fulfilment of the IFA's objectives,
pay the membership fees and administrative fees of the IFA as approved by the General Assembly,
to serve conscientiously on IFA bodies,
individuals - to undergo compulsory training in the minimum theory of felliniotherapy, if it is a felliniotherapy team to pass the prescribed examinations
and training prior to commencing independent work and subsequent examination at a date determined by the General Assembly,
ensure that the reputation of the IFA is not damaged,
individuals and legal entities - to enter into contracts for felinotherapy work with their target establishments where the activity is carried out,
to participate in general meetings,
treat animals kindly and give them appropriate care in accordance with the applicable veterinary and hygiene regulations in force in the Czech Republic and in their home countries,
be fully responsible for their own activities in the field of felinotherapy.
6. 3. Suspension of membership
Membership of the IFA is suspended:
upon request of a member,
in case of infectious or other illness of the handler or cat until the team can no longer carry out felinotherapy without posing a risk to the participants in felinotherapy.
6. 4. Termination of membership
Membership of the IFA shall cease,
if the member wishes to leave the IFA, upon submission of a written resignation to the management of the association,
in the event of a gross violation of the IFA statutes and bylaws or ethical standards (abuse, inadequate care, risk of communicable disease, sale of cats to dealers or for experimental purposes, gross violation of standards of practice and established methodology for felinotherapy),
death of a member,
dissolution of the association without a legal successor.
7. Relationship of the IFA to other organizations with a similar focus
The IFA recognises other organisations with a similar focus and seeks mutual cooperation
with them, including the exchange of experience, new knowledge and participation in jointly organised events.
8. IFA cooperation with veterinarians
The IFA cooperates with veterinarians and follows the applicable veterinary and hygiene regulations in the Czech Republic and other countries.
9. The IFA logo and official club documens
The IFA has its own logo and official club documents. The official languages of the IFA are English, Czech and Slovak.
10. Rights and obligations of the IFA
The IFA shall have the right and duty to establish and provide training and training procedures for the preparation of the felinotherapy teams of its members while ensuring its independence
and sovereignty.
The IFA has the right to tighten the veterinary conditions compared to the laws in force in the Czech Republic or to the laws in force in the home countries of its foreign members at events organised by the association, if the disease situation in the venue so requires.
11. Cats registered with the IFA
All cats registered in the IFA are kept registration cards with records of vaccinations, deworming, chipping and health records. In the event of any infectious disease, it is the responsibility of IFA members to report the situation immediately. It is forbidden to work with such cats in felinotherapy teams and to participate in zoo-rehabilitation. If it is
diseases are incurable but not transmissible to humans, it is the duty of the IFA members to ensure that they live a dignified and fulfilling life. It is also compulsory to vaccinate all cats registered with the IFA according to the current veterinary regulations in the Czech Republic and in the case of foreign members according to the regulations in force in their home countries.
12. Management of the IFA
The IFA is authorised to manage the funds raised by:
from IFA administrative fees (membership fees, animal registration, compulsory
and other training, etc.),
from the organisation of exhibitions and other events related to felinotherapy and zoo-rehabilitation or related to the promotion of zoo-rehabilitation,
donations from legal and natural persons,
from subsidies and contributions from the state budget or other public budgets, grants, etc. for the operation and maintenance of facilities and other programmes.
Management of these funds is carried out by the IFA management on the basis of a joint decision. The IFA's economist shall ensure its accounting. The accounts shall be kept in accordance with the tax
and financial laws in force in the Czech Republic. The IFA management issues annual or extraordinary reports on the management.
The IFA's financial resources are mainly used for the following purposes:
to ensure the function of the IFA and to fulfil the objectives of the club,
providing training and training procedures for the felinotherapy teams,
improving the quality of life of cats registered with the IFA (irregular in-kind benefits for cats, contributions for vaccinations, contributions for vitamin preparations, contributions for genetic tests and other professional examinations),
carrying out felinotherapy and its promotion, irregular allowances for transport to contractual facilities, if necessary,
facilitating felinotherapy and cooperation at international professional level (purchase of specialist domestic and foreign literature, purchase of cats suitable for felinotherapy, cooperation with domestic and foreign experts in veterinary medicine, genetics and biochemistry, cooperation with domestic
and foreign experts in the field of zoo-rehabilitation).
13. Dissolution of the association
The IFA may be dissolved by merging with another association by decision of the General Assembly, or by a decision of the General Assembly to dissolve it, if a supermajority of the IFA members attending the meeting so decides, after settlement of all financial obligations of the club
and the satisfaction of any creditors.
The IFA may also be dissolved by a final decision of the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic.
In the event of the dissolution of the IFA, the General Assembly shall appoint a liquidator. The IFA shall cease to exist upon its deletion from the Federal Register.
14. Final provisions
The IFA may, by decision of the General Assembly, issue rules of organisation and procedure for the club.
The IFA has the right to petition the state authorities in accordance with the objectives of its activities.
