What is IAHAIO
The International Association of Human-Animal Interaction Organizations (IAHAIO) is an international umbrella organization that brings together member organizations involved in research, education, and practice in the fields of human–animal interaction (HAI) and animal-assisted services (AAS). Its mission is to provide international leadership in advancing the field through research, education, collaboration, and the sharing of good practice. IAHAIO also publishes guidance documents, statements, and other professional resources that are widely used across the field.
